Behaviour Ambassadors

A recent addition to the list of Bishop Lonsdale pupil's roles and responsibilities.

Pupil Behaviour Ambassadors play a vital role in promoting a positive school culture. Their responsibilities include:

  • Leading by example by consistently demonstrating respectful behaviour and upholding school values.
  • Participating in learning walks alongside staff to observe and celebrate positive behaviour across different classrooms and settings.
  • Gathering pupil voice through discussions, surveys, and feedback to ensure all children feel heard and included.
  • Supporting staff by reinforcing behaviour strategies and school rules among peers.
  • Encouraging positive choices by offering reminders and guidance to classmates in a respectful and supportive manner.
  • Promoting a culture of kindness and respect throughout the school community.
The Bishop Lonsdale Behaviour Ambassadors have created 'Marvellous Mealtime Manners".  They delivered the new strategy by speaking to all classes about them. They supported the implementation of them in the dining hall and praised children for following this system.
